Muthaiah  Murlitharan a right arm off spin bowler from Sri Lanka was also called as Spin wizard. He was called so because of skill and the amount variety he had in his bowling. He had the capability to bowl 6 different types of deliveries in six allotted balls in one over. He is in the top position of my list and that is justified by the kind of records he has in the bowling. He is the only bowler in test cricket history to pick up 800 wickets. During his glorious cricketing career he was also involved in the controversies due to his action, but later International Cricket Council (I.C.C. ) found it all right. Apart from being the highest wicket taker in test he also holds the record of taking most 5 wickets in an innings and most 10 wickets in a test match. He was a phenomenal bowler and a great gentleman for the game of cricket.

    1. ODI and T20s are getting more preference than the tests, so these records are going to stay for longer period and also these records are not easy to pass.

    1. Richard Headlee is undoubtedly one of the greatest fast bowler and he was also the highest wicket taker during his cricket career. His career stats given in above article is more than enough to show how great bowler he was.
